ATTACK ON JOURNALISTS: NAN Reporter Brutalized at the Kaduna Inland Dry Port Commissioning

Saddening is the story of a reporter with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Abuja, Taye Elebiyo Edeni who was seriously brutalized by security operatives at the venue of the commissioning of Kaduna Inland Dry Port today, Thursday 2018.

The unfortunate incident, which took place at the main venue of the commissioning of the dry port, Down Quarters, Kakuri, ahead the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari and his entourage many have described as barbaric as journalists were only there to perform their civil responsibilities.

Despite their accredited tags, journalists were molested and denied access to the main venue of  the event. More disturbing is the fact that under their watchful eyes, some miscreants were allowed entrance to the venue by same security operatives.

Suffices to say the least that journalism practice in Kaduna has become something else in recent times.
