COVID-19: NASFAT Kaduna Extends Gesture To NUJ

A delegation from Nastrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) Kaduna Branch over the weekend were at the Nigeria Union Of Journalists Secretariat to present them with free facemasks.
According to the leader of the delegation, Chairman, NASFAT Kaduna Branch, Engr. Muhiydeen Alimi Yusuf, the gesture was in recognition of the good work of members of the union.
“Our visit is anchored on the fact that you journalists are one of those people at the front line in the fight against Covid-19.
We deemed it fit to present this token because you need to be protected too. You journalists command a lot of respect and integrity.
Globally, journalists play a big role in ensuring good governance.
We congratulate you for what you have been doing.
NASFAT is saying thank you while we seek for more collaboration in our bid to touching the lives of the people.
Receiving the 100 pieces of facemasks, Chairman, Nigeria Union Of Journalists, Comrade Adamu Yusuf thanked NASFAT for their show of love.
He commended NASFAT Kaduna for their activities which he said have far reaching effects while promising them of a healthy collaboration.
The door he said is open for other collaborations as the union is there to serve the society at large.
“I want to thank you sincerely for recognizing journalists. NASFAT especially in Kaduna state has been doing fine as their activities are widely projected in the media.
NUJ as a body exists because of the support and encouragement given by some organizations, like the recognition you have given us today. This is the third of such we have received.
I want to thank you sincerely and assure you of our continuous support.
Amongst the delegation were, the Vice Chairman, NASFAT Kaduna branch, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Ajao, NASFAT Secretary, Alhaji Abdulakeem Adeniji, Assistant Branch Secretary NASFAT, Alhaji Suleiman Adegbiyanju and Abdulmalik of the publicity committee.
