This award presentation to some of us believed to be people of high quality that have made significant contribution in our organizations and in places where we work is an encouragenent because the award is not only for journalists, there are others that have made significant impacts  in the society in their various fields of endeavors.
“I happen to work with Nigeria Union of Journalists FRCN, Kaduna Chapel and l am recognized as one of the beneficiaries of these awards as an outstanding reporter for the year. It is something that calls for celebration. It is a challenge to others so that we all put our efforts in this noble profession we find ourselves and be dedicated in discharging our duties for the betterment of our society.
“This l must say encourages me to put more efforts to make sure that there is an improvement in what l did that merited me this award. This is because if you are aspiring for something, you get to continue struggling to ensure that you perform excellently beyond expectation. This award has gingered me. It has encouraged me to know that this thing l have been doing, people are watching.
It is true the saying that no good work goes unnoticed. A  House of Representative Member,  Hon. Garba Datti representing Sabon/Gari Constituecy was amongst those fished out for this award.
His words.
“I feel so highly honored because there are many awards that are all over of which l was invited to receive but always select. This is one of the few credible awards that l cherish, that is why l participated physically because l know the role this particular radio station and the sister television station has played.
We know the role it played particularly in the northern part. Educating and enlightening people in making them know what is happening around them and the world at large.
“I can say without fear or contracdictions that this particular FRCN has really molded my life because l started listening to programs as a kid towards the end of the civil War, in the early 60’s, to early 70’s up to the time of the second republic. This station features issues of national interest, educative, social economic, as well as entertainment programmes. You just name it, all these you can ascribe to this particular station.
