Kaduna: Ohaneze Igbo Kaduna State Youths Visits Proprietors, Green Field University

It was an atmosphere of sobriety, when the executives of the Youth wing of the Ohaneze Igbo Kaduna state led by their visionary and indefatigable Youth leader and President High Chief Christopher Geoman, Ochinawata1, paid a surprise visit to the residence of the Founders of Green Field University, Engnr and Dr Mrs Nwakacha at their residence.

The powerful delegation which had in its fold, Mazi Ikechukwu Sweet Okolo, Financial Secretary (Enugu), Mazi Christopher Iheajemu, Treasurer (IMO), Mazi Livinus Ogechukwu Provost (Abia), Mazi Mark Ifeanacho, Chief Security Officer (Ebonyi) and Adaoma Stella Oliagba, Welfare Officer 2(Anambra) were well received into the warm abode of the nwakachas.

The visit availed the founders the opportunity to give a little chronicle of their journey from the scratch to where they are now.

Speaking, Engnr Nwakacha said what brought him to Kaduna for the first time was the NYSC compulsory service in 1978.

He said after his youth service he was offered a job at the NNPC where he rose  from grass to Grace.

One can feel the meticulous rise of a man whose vision for the future is so bright that its rays can affect the eyes.

His words.

“While I was in service at the NNPC, I never gave inducements, neither did I receive. Everything I own in life was as a result of my hardworking, careful planning, financial discipline, a supportive and visionary wife, and above all, the grace of God in my life. I have never meddled into any dirty game or engaged in any form of cultism, that is why I am neither afraid of the dark, or run away from the EFCC. He stated.

His catch word was that,  they have stopped  explaining to people because  they will not understand.

In his words of advise,  he urged the youth to be vigilant against the tricks of the devil.

According to Ohaneze Igbo Kaduna Youth leader, High Chief Christopher Geoman who watched the couple with keen interest, “one could see the demonstration of love shared between the two couples as the beautiful wife kept collaborating his story.

“One can see a couple who fell in love when they had barely nothing and have kept the fire burning over the years.”

Ohaneze in his closing remark had thanked them for the warm reception while assuring them that the entire Igbo youths in Kaduna are with them in prayers.

The height of the event was the Formal Adoption Of Engnr Nwakacha as the life Patron of the Ohaneze Igbo Youths Wing Kaduna.

Before dispersing a special prayer session was held for the safe return of the adopted students.

The executives promised to repay the visit when their brothers and sisters have been released.

Engr.  Nwakache in return  also prayed for the delegation.

It will be recalled that the Green Field University has been in the news recently for the Abduction and gruesome murder of some of the abductee’s by armed bandits in recent times.
