Call For Removal Of Chief Of Air Staff Unwise …Says, Air Marshall Oladayo Amao, One of the Best Pilots in Nigeria – NCM
A group under the auspices of Northern Consensus Movement (NCM) has raised concern over call demanding the removal of Chief of Air Staff, (CAS) Air Marshall Oladayo Amao.
The call made by the President, National Youth Council of Nigeria, (NYCN) Solomon Adodo the group described as unwise, saying, Air Marshall Oladayo Amao is one of the best pilots in Nigeria today.
This was contained in a statement signed on behalf of the group by the President, Northern Consensus Movement, Comrade Awwal Abdullahi Aliyu which was made available to the press.

CALL FOR THE REMOVAL OF AIR MARSHALL OLADAYO AMAO AS CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS)
BY THE PRESIDENT, NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL OF NIGERIA (NYCN).SOLOMON ADODO, IS UNWISE.
Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Air Marshal Oladayo Amao is one of the best Pilots in Nigeria today,
he is known to be a team player an administrator per excellence, and a professional Soldier.
Regrettably there were Aircrafts crashes in the past before the emergence of Amao as Chief of Air Staff. It should be noted that,
no leader will ever wish to have anything bad happen under his watch, just as every father will never wish anything bad for his household/family. Therefore, it will be unfair and unjust to call for the Removal of Amao at this trying time/period of our dear Nation.
Our investigation revealed that, the Chief of Air Staff has already constituted a committee to look into the remote causes of the plane crashes, to recommend if need be a structural re-oganization of some sectors of the Air force as well as any other thing that will enhance the performance of the Air Force personnels. It is on this note that, we are calling on all Nigerians to support the Chief of Air Staff (CAS) in taking the civilized way to get to the remote causes of the Air mishaps that have so far consumed the life of professional aircrews in the Nigeria AirForce.
Perhaps, we hope and pray the present insecurity bedevilling the country will soon come to an end as we call on all the security agencies to work in synergy with each other so as to end the shedding of blood of the innocent citizens in the country.
