Yet Another Breakthrough As Nigerian Army Rescue 9 Students Of FGC Birni Yauri From Bandits

It was another victory as Nigerian army clapdown on bandits and rescued 9 abducted students of Federal Government College, Yauri in Kebbi state.
The students regained freedom after soldiers ambushed fleeing bandits on Thursday night.
Newsreservoir gathered that at least 80 bandits had been neutralized during the ambush around Makuku village in Sakaba LGA of Kebbi State.
According to a resident of Sakaba LGA who told the BBC Hausa service,
“some of the bandits were trapped in a forest and soldiers surrounded the area.
That after they abducted the students, the bandits fled through Rijau local government area in Niger State before passing through Sakaba where  they were ambushed by the Military. “Right now we have piled about 80 corpses of the bandits in a primary school in Makuku,” he said.
 Member representing Yauri in the National Assembly, Muhammed Bello Ngaski also speaking with the BBC confirmed that nine of the students have been rescued and that Governor of Kebbi State, Senator Atiku Bagudu  arrived Yauri to assess the level of damage in the school.
According to Ngaski: “On the school register, we have about 57 students missing but there is the possibility that some of the students had ran into the bush when the bandits attacked and we are still trying to trace them,” he said.
