 SPORTS ENTHUSIASTS IDENTIFY WITH KEWALRAM CHANRAI GROUP ZEAL ON SPORTS DEVELOPMENT

A group of Nigerian sports enthusiasts have identified with the genuine, dogged strides and zeal of the Kewalram Chanrai Group Ltd, on the consistent sponsorship of the Group’s Football League Competition, especially the just concluded Sixth Edition held in Lagos. A press release by the Public Relation Manager, Aramide Tola Noibi, made available to News reservoir, said.

In their various remarks at the end of the event, the Production Manager, Koncept Auto, Mr. Harry Ijeh as well as the Match Commissioner, Kewalram Chanrai Group 2018 Football League Competition, Mr. Gbenga Oguntusin, the Human Resources Manager, Kewalram Chanrai Ltd., the Chairman, Local Organising Committee of the Competition, Mr. Tunde Opatola, Human Resources Manager, Springfield Agro Ltd., Vice Chairman of the LOC, among others, pleaded with those in authority especially the political class,  community and numerous others whose ultimate impression is to eliminate class or racial difference, to strengthen the  growth and economic of the nation in order to make it vibrant, free for all society with great job opportunities for all to proudly live in.

The event which was held at the Nitel Sports Stadium, Cappa, Oshodi, Lagos was regarded as the moving vehicle of national and global unity as well as the promotion of healthy life, devoid of any discrimination of class or egoistic arrogance.

“While appreciating such notable drive in that regard, they called on other genuine investors with human passion to honestly emulate such gestures to alleviate the problems of the numerous masses especially the astute professionals whose drives are continually in need of at all times; to contribute effectively and constructively especially with the creation of the most convenient level playing ground for the effective realization of their expectations and goals in that direction.

They therefore called for other incentives such as tax holidays and other effective cooperation from government and individuals to effectively scout for the potentials that would join the States or National Teams, for global sporting excellence”.  According to the press release,

The Group Managing Director, Mr. Siva Subramanian, as well as the Deputy, Mr. Victor Eburajolo, the CEO Springfield Agro Ltd, Mr. Tarun Das, the Vice President, Projects for the group, Mr. Sanjeev Tandon, the Group Executive Director, Mr. Vishy Vishwanathan, applauded the zeal,  support and  cooperation of the entire staff demonstrated towards the just completed fiesta.

He also commended the dynamism displayed by the local organizing committee members and others for the ultimate success of the games  and that of previous  competitions.

The Group Managing Director expressed their profound gratitude to the entire society, the nation and the media community on their strides to adequately, effectively promote the games for greater improved participation for such national and global excellence at all times.

He pleaded for more synergy with such honest, transparent contribution for greater, healthy, vibrant economy.

Highlights of the games were the presentation of Trophies and cash awards to the individuals and

 

teams that excelled at the Games. Such included Springfield Agro Ltd., the overall winners and Sunola Foods Ltd, the runners up.

Others included AFCOTT Ladies winning Team captained by Miss Toyin Arogundade along with the Team Manager who respectively collected the cash awards and trophies.

The rest teams are Koncept Auto and Afprint Ltd, Kewalram Chanrai team.

Meanwhile, the best goalkeeper trophy of the competition was won by Sola Opatola of the Springfield Agro Ltd., the ladies team, the AFCOTT 2018 Cup was received by Miss Toyin Arogundade while the overall winners’ cup was received by the Captain, Bashir Qudus.

The best goal scorer’s cup of the competition was received by Mr. Jimoh Olanrewaju of the Springfield Agro and Yusuf Abdulraheem of Koncept Auto, respectively.

The competition which started in series was very well attended by sports enthusiasts and others from both sectors of the economy.
