Attention has been drawn to a publication of an interview granted by Mallam Imrana , published by Nigerian Tribune currently making waves.
The family members of late Alhaji Wada Nas has disassociated itself from what they described as false claims of Imrana and re-iterates their stand for President Muhammadu Buhari who they say have stood by them since the death of their father.
This was contained in a press release signed by Mallam Abubakar Wada Nas on behalf of the family which was distributed to journalists in Kaduna on Thursday.
Imrana is accused of making false claim of being late Alhaji Wada Nas’s son. “This is false and fraudulent and calculated to generate political attention and patronage for himself from politicians desperate to pull down the Buhari’s Government.
The statement also said, Imrana claimed, ”If late Wada were alive, he would have joined those plotting to pull down the government of President Buhari. This, the statement described as the pigment of his imagination.
The family of late Wada Nas by this statement is therefore disassociating itself from false claims of Imrana and reiterates that, “we stand by President Muhammadu Buhari as he has been standing by us since our father returned to Allah and the conviction that Muhammadu Buhari means well for Nigeria.
“We therefore call on Imrana to desist from making such false claims and focus on how to build his political career without having to ride on the reputation of our late father. Alhaji Wada Nas built his political career on hard work, perseverance, sincerity of purpose and with clear vision of what he wanted to achieve. The statement added.
