Eid-el-Fitri:  El-Zakzaky Distributes  Palliatives, Cash to Kaduna Journalists, Others

In the spirit of Sallah celebration, the National President of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, (IMN) Sheikh Ibraheem Yakubu El-Zazzaky distributed bags of grains including rice, alongside cash to Kaduna journalists to enable them have a joyous festivity.

 Life Intervention Church Kaduna distributed the food items said such will further strengthen Muslim/Christian relationship as both benefitted from the gesture.
It could be recalled that hundreds of bags of grains were equally distributed to Christians, widows and orphans in the southern part of Kaduna during the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan .

Buru added that for the past years, Sheick Zazzaky has been distributing food stuff during Ramadan and Sallah festivities to millions of Nigerians both home and abroad even when he was in detention in Abuja and kaduna prison.
He stressed that high cost of food stuff, insecurity challenges, Covid-19 pandemic has affected this year’s Sallah celebration.
Lamenting the insecurity bedeviling the country, he urged the government to put in more efforts to ensure safety of Nigerians.
He applauded the efforts of the Nigerian Army in defeating Boko Haram, banditry kidnappings and other criminal elements in the northern part of Nigeria.
In recognition of the important role religious leaders play in the maintenance of peace and stability,  he charged the  imams and pastors to pray for peace and stability to reign in the country.

While wising Muslims world wide happy sallah celebrations in advance, he called on them to use the lessons learnt during the 30 days fasting towards promoting interreligious tolerance and better understanding among different faith.
