Eid-el-Kabir: Northern Group Felicitates With Gov. AbdulRasaq

Northern group under the aegies of the Arewa Solidarity Group (ASG), has felicitated with the Kwara state Governor, AbdulRasaq AbdulRahman on the occassion of the Eid el Kabir celebration.

In a congratulatory message  signed by the Chairman of the group, Isa Ahmed, also felicitated with Kwarans and urged them to always imbibe the tenet of Islam.

According to the statement, Islam symbolizes peace, love and selflessness towards mankind, and these should be the attributes of every Muslim faithful.

“Allah is a compassionate creator, and Prophet Muhammad, (Peace Be Unto Him) lived a compassionate life towards his fellow humans, and therefore every Muslim must be compassionate towards his fellow human beings,” the group stated.

The group noted that if everyone shows love to his fellow human beings as enshrined in the tenet of Islam, the world will be a safe place to live, and urged all Muslims to show love even in the face of provocation.

The statement also urged the Kwarans to give all the neccessary support to the Kwara state government as the state is currently enjoying the dividends.
