Flood: African climate reporters Caution Against Deforestation, Environmental Degradation

A team of African climate reporters have drawn attention to the Increasing global temperatures which it said have recently led to significant, abnormal changes in weather patterns in many parts of the world.
It attributed largely human activities to the frequent and more intense flooding condition we are experiencing today.
Flooding is the environmental disaster that impacts more people than any other, say researchers.
“Indeed the climate change we face now, which is largely the result of human activities, is making extreme weather events more frequent and more intense.
Some of the examples that we are seeing more and more of, across the world, are erratic and heavy rainfall, floods, droughts and cyclones.”
As a measure, African climate reporters are calling for more campaigns against deforestation and environmental degradation.
