It is true the saying that hard work never goes in vain.
This is the case of the ex- Kano State Commissioner of Information and Home Affairs, Hon. Muhammed Garba who recently was elevated to the post of Chief of staff by his former boss.
Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, immediate past Kano state governor, now the new All Progressives Congress National Chairman, had in a statement issued on Tuesday by a former aide of the APC National Chairman, Abubakar Ibrahim announced this elevation.
Alhaji Muhammed Garba’s appointment as Chief of Staff many have described as well deserved for not only has he carved a niche in the pen profession but also in the political struggles.
The easy-going, vibrant, focused and articulate new Chief of Staff is a man to be reckoned with.
Alhaji Garba, aside serving in Ganduje’s government in Kano for eight years, was also the press secretary to the office of the deputy speaker of the House of Representatives.
Garba was a former President, Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ) and member, Steering Committee of International Federation of Journalists.
