Kaduna: NASFAT Witnesses Yet Another  Conferment As Offa Muslim Council Of Nigeria Honours Members

It was a great day for both branches of NASFAT in Kaduna. The Doka branch and Kaduna branch of whom the Offa Muslim Council Of Nigeria honored their own.

NASFAT Doka Branch Women Affairs Secretary, Hajiya Bashira Sheidu could not hide her joy as her mother, Alhaja Zulfa Mojisola Abidemi was honored for her contributions to Islam.

 

 

 

The occasion which attracted the presence of large members of the branch was celebrated in a grand style.

As for the Women Affairs Secretary, it was a moment to be remembered as she poured out her heart in gratitude to Allah.

“I feel very elated. I am so happy. I feel

honored. Is not as if my mother has anything, but the little  she has, she normally contribute towards lslam. Especially when she is going to asalat, she will ask us, “you people should give me money to spend oo”. And whatever she is given, she makes sure she spends everything.

 Even some members testified that

when they are going home from asalat, she will call some of them, “you, come and take transport money. Alhamdulllah

that she is celebrated while she is alive. At least not spending for parties but in the course of Allah.

At least the little we have been able to contribute into Offa Community purse will assist in the growth of lslam. Alhamdulllah, we thank Allah for everything and for witnessing this day.”

 

 

Alhaji Abdulhakeem Babatunde Abidemi, Mama’s eldest son also appreciates Allah for Mama’s good health and  having the grace to celebrate this day.

Alhamdulllah! Alhamdulllah Robil Alamin.

“Mama is very sincere, Mama is very modest, very fair, very compassionate. Very respectful, doesn’t discriminate between the children. Whether biological or step children.

“Mama has been a rally point in this family. Either within our own mega family or extended family.

“In Kaduna, she is our rally point, in Offa, she is our rally point, so we thank Allah for giving us the grace to be part of this celebration because we are celebrating her life.

“We never prayed that until she dies before we show our appreciation to Almighty Allah for what she has been doing for all of us.”

Alhaji Abidemi said they are blessed to have such a loving mother saying, even though one cannot deny the fact that Allah takes charge of everyone’s affairs, ‘mama’ went through a lot in her struggles to take them to where they are today.

The celebrant, Alhaja  Zulfa Mojisola Abidemi who was turbaned and conferred with award of excellence glorifying Allah for this day, has this to say.

“I feel very elated and l glorify Allah for this day. I thank Allah for counting me worthy to be among those to be recognized for towing his path. Alhamdulllah! My joy has no bound. Not for anything, but for the fact that l have been able to in my own little way contribute to lslam.

In her state of joy she prayed for all those that came to celebrate her including her children who made the occasion successful. ‘Mama’ is presently attending lslamic classes (lslamiya) Age she said should not be a barrier to learning while urging other parents particularly our mothers to remain steadfast, loving and chart the course of Allah.

 

Some weeks back, Doka elders Committee’s Chairman, Alhaji lsiaka Yusuf received an award of excellence from Ansar-Ud-Deen Society for contributing to the growth of Islam.

In the same vain, a member of NASFAT Kaduna branch, Alhaji Abdulfatai Uthman Ogunsanya was recognized for same award of excellence alongside ‘Mama’ by the Offa Muslim Council of Nigeria.

Alhaji Abdulfatai is one of the pioneering member of NASFAT Kaduna Branch’s welfare committee.

NASFAT Zonal Missioner, Imam Ma’rooph Muhammed Raji, in his  commendation described him as persevering and very dedicated during his stewardship as the head of the committee.

Alhaji Abdulfatai is still serving in the course of Allah, contributing to the growth of lslam. He said.

Members of the branch who rally round him together with that of Doka described him as a jolly good fellow.

The message here is that individuals should strive in doing good for there is reward in goodness.

So, let’s increase our good deeds.
