The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Kaduna state Chapter has expressed satisfaction over the emergence of Comrade Aisha Ibrahim Bura as President, Jamila Abubakar Chinwe as national auditor and Daharatu Ahmed Aliyu Zone A Secretary.

The combination of Aisha Ibrahim Bura from zone A as President, and other national officers it described as a formidable team that will help unite and move the association forward.

jointly signed by the Chairperson, NAWOJ Kaduna state chapter, Comrade Fatima Aliyu Mahuta and NAWOJ’s Secretary, Comrade Maureen Sheyin revealed this.

“While congratulating Hajia Aisha Bura,  our candidates from zone A , and other National Officers, we describe them as great team that would bring development to all.”

Aisha, defeated  the incumbent  President at the just conducted election  on Saturday 25th November, at the 11th Triennial Delegates Conference in Abuja.
“Kaduna NAWOJ is appreciating all the states in zone A for their unflinching support that led to our victory.”
The statement also tasks the newly elected National Executives on robust performance for the development of the Association and towards enhancing unity among members.
“NAWOJ Kaduna assure you of our cooperation as your team works towards achieving a greater NAWOJ.
“We also rejoice over the re-election of  deputy President, Lilian Okonkwo Ogabu; the National Secretary, Wasilah Ibrahim-ladan; National Treasurer, Fatimah Rasheed; National Financial secretary, Ifeoma Aka; Assistant National Secretary, Aisha Cole, and National Auditor, Jemilah Abubakar on their resounding victory.” The statement added
