7th Biennial Conference: NASFAT Harps on unity, addresses Global economic,  environmental crisis

a reowned faith based organization in Nigeria has just ended it  3days conference.
Top on the agenda for discussion were burning issues of Global economic, and environmental concerns.
The conference which was hosted by NASFAT UK/Ireland Zone had delegates from zones and branches across all NASFAT formations across the globe.
Earlier in a statement, the President NASFAT Worldwide, Alhaji Abdulrauf Ayodeji Abdulwaheed explained that the conference was earlier scheduled for 2021 but owning to COVID-19 was rescheduled for this year, 3rd to 5th of May.
In his opening address, he urged every participant to contribute positively at the deliberation.
According to the statement, NASFAT President’s choice of London for the 7th Biennial Conference was strategic as it was aimed at positioning the organization as a strong voice in addressing global economic crisis, conflicts and environmental problems.
The conference is also meant to promote cohesion among the society “whereby members in Nigeria and those in the Diaspora are able to synergize towards the attainment of the aims and objectives of the society “. The president added.
Lectures were delivered by prominent scholars and notable resource persons from Nigeria and abroad.
The Annual General meeting was presided by the BOT Chairman, Dr. Abdullateef Adewale Olasupo.
The conference with the theme, “Navigating the Current World: Strategies and Solutions for Relevance and Growth”
which had inputs from cream of distinguished participants hopes to have positive impacts as efforts will be geared towards actualizing it into reality.
The NASFAT 7th Biennial Conference in UK is the second one holding outside Nigeria and the first outside Africa.
