The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Chikun Branch has applauded Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna state for deeming it fit to appoint barrister Gloria Ibrahim as the new Commissioner for Youth Development.

The appointment they believe will spur her to do more for the youth which has always been her area of concern.

In a statement signed by the group’s Social Secretary, Comr. Katung Innocent (Mr SOD),

“On behalf of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Chikun Branch, and under the leadership of Ambassador Sheyin Nuhu Wakili, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to you, Barrister Gloria Ibrahim, on your well-deserved appointment as the Commissioner for Youth Development by His Excellency, Senator (Dr.) Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State.

Describing her as one with amiable character and of high pedigree, the ministry will witness a new dawn.

“Your appointment is a testament to your outstanding legal expertise, dedication, and commitment to community development, particularly in the youth sector. Your rich background as a legal practitioner and mediator, coupled with your affiliations with reputable organizations such as the Association of Professional Negotiators and Mediators (APNM), Child Protection Agency (CPN), Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), and International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), speaks volumes about your capacity to lead this vital ministry.
