Kaduna: Imam Raji Maaruf Kolawole Becomes New Deputy Director Academics, CTGS

Centre for Tsangaya and General Studies, (CTGS), National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) has brought on board new leadership as former  Deputy Director, Dr. Jami’u Hashim, handed over the mantle of leadership to the Incoming Deputy Director Academics, Imam Raji Maaruf Kolawole.

A statement from the Media and Information Unit, Centre for Tsangaya and General Studies, National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) dated Monday, 26th, 2025 made this disclosure.

It described the transition as a significant milestone while looking forward to a robust relationship with the new Deputy Director as it wished Dr. Jami’u Hashim the best in his new endeavour.

The handing over ceremony held at the office of the Deputy Director Academics was witnessed by various heads of units.

The statement reads:

“We are pleased to report that the formal handing over ceremony from the Outgoing Deputy Director, Dr. Jami’u Hashim, to the Incoming Deputy Director Academics, Imam Raji Maaruf Kolawole, took place today, Monday, May 26th, 2025.

“The ceremony was held at the office of the Deputy Director Academics, CTGS, at 10:30 am prompt, with Unit Heads and Assistant Heads under the Academic Division in attendance.

“The successful handing over ceremony marks a significant milestone in the transition process, and we look forward to the new leadership taking over. The statement stressed.
