In its communiqué, the Congress expressed deep concern over the irregular power supply that continues to cripple businesses and reduce the quality of life of residents. The association urged relevant agencies to intensify efforts in restoring stable electricity across affected areas.

On public safety, the association raised alarm over the growing activities of scavengers across the state, warning that the trend poses threats to public health, security, and the environment. It called on authorities to properly regulate and monitor scavenging to maintain order and hygiene.

In the health sector, NAWOJ applauded the ongoing Measles Vaccination Campaign spearheaded by the State Government and its health partners. The group encouraged parents and caregivers to ensure their children are immunized, emphasizing that collective participation would protect children from preventable diseases.

The Congress also lauded the Kaduna State Government’s commitment to hosting the 2026 Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Week, expressing optimism that the event will further enhance professionalism, strengthen collaboration, and boost the state’s image.
