In a fitting tribute to excellence and service, the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (NIS), Kaduna State Branch, honoured Surveyor Iliyasu Abdulmumini Saeed, MINS, Sarkin Fadan Kajuru, in commemoration of Global Surveyors Day.

The recognition spotlighted his remarkable contributions to the surveying profession, particularly during his tenure as Kaduna State Surveyor General and in the years that followed.

Widely respected for his leadership and professionalism, Surveyor Iliyasu is credited with advancing the standards and practice of surveying across the state.

The ceremony drew a distinguished gathering of family members, professionals, and well-wishers, including Surveyor Ahmad Iliyasu Kajuru, Pharmacist Abdulmumini Iliyasu Kajuru, Malam Musa, Professor Binta Abdulkarim of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Chemist Zainab Iliyasu Kajuru, Quantity Surveyor Aminu Iliyasu Kajuru, and Engineer Ahmad Rufai Abdulmumini, Walin Kajuru. The event not only celebrated a career of impact but also reaffirmed the enduring values of integrity, service, and professional excellence within the surveying community.
