NVBF President Nimrod Reassures Determination in Taking Volleyball to Greater Heights

The President Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) Engineer Musa Nimrod has assured his continuous support to states in order that they can have formidable team that can take the nation to greater heights.

He made this known at the just concluded Zonal elimination for team events preparatory to the National Youth Games (NYG) scheduled to hold in  Ilorin Kwara State.

Engineer Nimrod while presenting donated items comprising five indoor volleyballs, 2 beach volleyballs and a net to each of the North west States as part of efforts to

encourage volleyball at the grassroot level had stressed on the need for the various representatives of the states to encourage the game of volleyball in their respective states.

He expressed satisfaction with the way and manner the game of volleyball is progressing in the country and with Nigeria’s teams making the country proud in international competitions.

He also noted that,  ahead of the National Youth Games, he will always support the Ministry and also assist the technical Officials, while stressing that monitoring of the programme as the the major challenge facing volleyball in the country.

Responding in appreciation, the Zonal Coordinator Northwest Zone, Mr Olusola Luke commended the NVBF President for his continuous support to the Zone and numerous financial and moral support for sports development within the zone and the country at large.

He prayed God to continue to bless his efforts now and always.

He urged the representatives of the states who benefited from Engineer Nimrod’s magnanimity to make judicious use of the items to develop the game of volleyball in their states.
