NASFAT Kaduna Celebrates Branch Missionary’s Golden Jubilee

It was a joyous occasion on Sunday as members of NASFAT Kaduna branch celebrated the Zonal Missionary 50th year’s birthday in grand style.
A lot of encomiums were showered on the easy going, energetic Imam Marooph Muh’d Raji for his leadership role in moving the missionary board forward in its spiritual upliftment of the congregation.
Suffice to say the least that this man of enviable character has successfully steered the Missionary board for close to 20 years and still putting his knowledge to bear for the spiritual sustainability of members and Islam in general.
A Master Degree holder in bussiness administration whose lslamic religious pursuit started at a tender age now a certified Imam of repute by a renowned university in Egypt is leaving no stone unturned in his lslamic pursuit for more knowledge.
According to him, the sky is his limit as his dream to contribute through his knowledge in building a crime free and egalitarian society has no limit.
NASFAT Kaduna Branch Chairman, Engr. Muhyideen Alimi Yusuf who acknowledged the immense contribution of the Imam and his missionary team to the spiritual growth of members of the Society wished him many happy years ahead.
The Branch Council of Elders Committee Chairman Alhaji Hamza Yahaya wishing him a memorable birthday, on behalf of the society presented a gift to the celebrant.
Responding, Imam Marooph Raji while expressing surprise over the show of love by the Executives and every members of NASFAT thanked them for their support.
Everyone’s support has been the reason for his achievements, he acknowledged.
” l can only say, Jazakumullah Khaira . May Allah reward you all for your show of love.
It is not by my power but by the mercy of Allah.
“I thank the Executive and members of NASFAT for giving me the chance and opportunity to discharge the define duty.” He said.
He appreciated the branch Chairman Engr. Muhyideen Alimi Yusuf for his style of leadership which he said has been able to keep them together.
Imam Raji also thanked his Missionary team for their understanding and support without which he wouldn’t have been able to record much success.
It is true the saying that behind every successful man is an understanding woman. Simple and easy-going Hajiya Medina Folashade Raji has always been there for her husband.
According to Imam Marooph who gave kudos to the wife, “My wife has been very supportive, for it is not easy being a wife to a missionary.” He said.
Earlier in his home, a prayer session was organized as a mark of years well spent.
Just recently, elevated in his clarion call to Islam, Imam Marooph after training in one of the renowned universities in Egypt was certified by AZHAR university, Cairo as qualified to lead congregational prayer anywhere in the world.
Imam Marooph is a member of Muslim Council Society of Nigeria and many others.
