“Nigerians, Rise for Fairness: A National Call to Reduce the Price of Bread”

Beautiful Call to Nigerians:

This is a heartfelt call to action—a call to every Nigerian who believes in fairness, justice, and the right to affordable daily bread.

Jos-based Hausa activist, Aliyu Shuaibu, has boldly spoken a truth that many have whispered. When the price of flour shot up to ₦80,000–₦90,000, bread sellers wasted no time raising the price of bread. But now that flour has fallen to ₦35,000–₦40,000, what has changed?
Nothing. The price of bread remains painfully high.

Fellow Nigerians, this is not the time to fold our arms.
This is the moment to stand together, to raise our voices, and to demand the fairness we deserve.

If bread sellers and manufacturers could increase prices when their costs were rising, then they must reduce those prices now that the cost of flour has dropped. Fairness must work both ways.

To all bakeries, bread sellers, and manufacturers, we say:
Be fair. Do the right thing. Reduce the price of bread.

And to all Nigerians—across cities, towns, and villages—let us unite in this simple but powerful demand. Support only those businesses that uphold integrity. Speak out wherever prices remain unfair.

Bread is not just food. It is a symbol of daily survival.
Nigeria deserves honesty. Nigeria deserves accountability.
Nigeria deserves better.
