In its resolution, jointly signed by the Vice President Zone A Comrade Yusuf Idris and Zonal Secretary, Izma Yamadi Abdullahi respectively, the meeting has called on both the federal and state government to do more in this direction for the betterment of the nation.
RESOLUTIONS
That both the Kaduna state and Federal governments should do more in rescuing the students of Federal College of Forestry and Mechanisation that were kidnapped and have been in captivity for over 3 weeks now.
The meeting aligns itself with the Nigeria Labour Congress in kicking against the sack of thousands of workers in Kaduna state civil service.

The meeting commended the Zonal office and Kaduna state council of the NUJ for the initiative to organise Roundtable and for successfully hosting the Zonal meeting.
The meeting which was declared opened by the National President Chris Isiguzo, charged leaders of the zone to continue to chart a new course for the union at all levels.
